Graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México’s law school. Realized a graduated program about author’s rights at the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland and at the International Law Institute in Washington D.C. Received his intellectual property master’s degree from Mary and Westfield College in London University.
Senior partner at Jalife, Caballero & Associates, a law firm that specializes in intellectual property and corporative law.
Co-author in a jingles and author’s rights book, as well as in several articles, essays and research studies published in recognized magazines and books specialized in the intellectual property subject. Author to the introducing comment of the “New Author’s Rights Federal Law” (Nueva Ley federal del derecho de autor) published by SISTA. He also wrote the book “Author’s right for authors” (Derecho de autor para autores) published by Fondo de Cultura Económica, CERLALC and Libraria.
Current professor at the Graduated Unit for the intellectual property specialty at the Universidad Panamericana and the master’s degree at IPADE.
Has taught a number of conferences related to author’s rights in different universities all over Mexico and Latin-America.
Advisor inside the World Organization for the Intellectual Property in the author’s rights subject and for the Latin-American and Caribbean development program for the foment of the book (CERLALC).
