With a Degree as Agroindustrial Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo, Mr. Ochoa holds a specialization in Intellectual Property matters from the Universidad Panamericana (UP), and has participated within several Specialized Certification Programs from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), from the European Patent Office (EPO), being instructed in the Hague from the Netherlands Head Office, and also in Munich, capital of the German state of Bavaria, joining technical groups from various fields of inventors, focusing in the process of clearance, determining the state of the art and previous art characteristics from different types of technical applications to be reviewed within Former Examination and for the Issuance of Office Actions exclusively for the Mexican Patent and Trademark Office in Patent matters.
Since 1987, and for almost 14 years, Mr. Ochoa was Head Office Manager of Former Examiners for the Process of Formal Patent Examination within the Mexican Institue of Industrial Property (IMPI).
Before this new millennium begun, and since 1999, Mr. Ochoa has been practicing with wide experience on drafting and prosecution for inventions, traversing formal office actions, crafting strong specifications, and providing tactical strategies for filing and prosecuting applications throughout the world, rendering the best expert infringement opinions for all type of inventions in our country or coordinating foreign parallel expert technical advise.
Mr. Ochoa has taught and participated within Mexican major and prestigious universities, as lecturer and joint professor, for patent related matters, proudly being invited by different institutions, namely, the Mexican National Association of Inventors, the Universidad Anahuac, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, the National Association of Imports and Exports of the Mexican Republic, the Research and Development Center for Industrial Engineering in Querétaro, and within the National Institute of Polytechnics.
